Description
Altrad Belle BGA Poker Power Unit
The BGA is Belle’s engine-driven power unit for flexible concrete poker shafts. It sits on the ground next to the pour and drives the shaft through a 60mm round PTO with an industry-standard two-dog coupling. With a choice of three engines, it can be set up for general groundworks, rental fleets or heavy-duty diesel sites.
Standard Two-Dog Coupling The two-dog PTO is the common fitting for flexible poker shafts, so the BGA works with shafts already in use on site as well as Belle’s own BGA shaft assemblies. Belle’s 6m shafts are offered with heads from 25mm to 68mm, letting one power unit handle anything from thin walls to mass foundations.
Engine Options The BGA is available in three versions:
- Honda GX160 petrol: 5.5hp / 4.0kW gross, 26kg. A familiar engine with wide parts and service support.
- Loncin petrol: Loncin H135, 3.5hp / 2.6kW gross, 24kg. The lightest version, for general concrete work.
- Hatz diesel: Hatz 1B20, 5.4hp / 4.0kW gross, 43kg. For sites that run on diesel or where long running hours are expected.
Compact and Portable The petrol versions share a 420 x 520 x 445mm footprint, light enough for two people to lift onto formwork or move around the pour. The diesel version is larger and heavier at 440 x 630 x 500mm and 43kg, reflecting its heavier engine.
Supplied as the Power Unit This listing is for the power unit only. A flexible shaft and poker head are needed to put it to work and are sold separately, so the head size can be chosen to suit the section being poured.
Typical Applications The BGA suits strip and pad foundations, ground beams, retaining walls, columns and slabs, anywhere a ground-standing engine unit is preferred over electric or battery pokers.
