Description
Altrad Belle BMD300 Mini Dumper with Wide Tyres
The BMD300 is Belle’s walk-behind, four-wheel-drive mini dumper, built to move up to 300kg of material where a wheelbarrow is too slow and a ride-on dumper won’t fit. This version is supplied on wide turf tyres, a good fit for landscapers, gardeners and anyone working across lawns or soft ground. A Honda GXV160 petrol engine provides the drive.
Payload and Skip The tipping skip holds 113 litres level or 134 litres heaped, with a maximum payload of 300kg. The skip tips forward to unload, and it can be swapped for an optional flatbed for blocks, slabs, logs or turf.
Four-Wheel Drive Traction A centre friction wheel engages four-wheel drive, giving grip on rough or sloping ground. The BMD300 is rated to climb and descend gradients of up to 20 degrees, and it has four forward gears plus reverse, with a top speed of 6 km/h forward and 2.6 km/h in reverse. Disc brakes and a parking disc brake keep it under control when loaded.
Compact for Restricted Access At 1,609mm long and 934mm high, the BMD300 is compact enough to pass through a standard 28-inch doorway, so it can reach back gardens and restricted-access areas. The reinforced chassis and gearbox are built for site and hire use.
Wide Tyre Version This model (Belle part BMD01T) runs on wide turf tyres rather than the standard multi-purpose lug tyres. The wider footprint spreads the load, which helps on lawns, soft soil and surfaces where you want to avoid rutting. Optional attachments include a flatbed, a ball or ball-and-eye tow hitch, a snow plough and a skip ramp set.
- Landscaping: moving soil, turf, bark and aggregates across gardens
- Groundworks: shifting spoil and concrete on restricted-access sites
- Building: carrying blocks, bricks and bagged materials with the flatbed fitted
- Estates and grounds: general carrying, and snow clearing with the plough attachment
