Description

Altrad Belle Commodore Diesel Site Mixer

The Commodore is Altrad Belle’s professional heavy-duty site mixer, designed for prolonged site use and rental fleets. Every model in this listing is powered by a Stage V compliant Yanmar L48 diesel engine with electric start, and the range is offered in three drum sizes to match the batch size your site needs.

Heavy-Duty Build The Commodore is built on a heavy-duty steel chassis designed to withstand tough site conditions, and is easy to clean down after use. A rigid, reinforced drum resists distortion, and a sealed high-specification gearbox keeps routine maintenance to a minimum.

Controlled Mixing and Tipping A gated paddle design gives an efficient mix at a drum speed of 19rpm. When it is time to discharge, a foot-operated tip lock and large tip wheel give the operator safe control over large batches, and a robust parking brake helps keep the mixer where you leave it.

Typical Uses The Commodore is built for demanding, high-volume work:

  • Large batches of concrete: footings, bases and slabs
  • Mortar production: keeping brickwork and blockwork gangs supplied
  • Rental fleets: a durable diesel mixer for long-term hire use
  • Remote sites: diesel power where mains electricity is not available

Choosing a Drum Size All three models share the same Yanmar L48 diesel engine (3Hp / 2.5kW). The Commodore 5-3 has a 160 litre drum and 115 litre mixing capacity. The Commodore 7-5 steps up to a 220 litre drum and 160 litre mix. The Commodore 10-7 is the largest, with a 310 litre drum and 220 litre mix for maximum output per batch.

Stage V Engine The Yanmar L48 meets Stage V emissions requirements, and electric start makes it quick to get running at the start of the day without pull-starting. Running on diesel also means the Commodore can share fuel with other diesel plant already on site.
