Description
Altrad Belle GPX2700 Loncin Petrol Generator
The GPX2700 is the entry point to Belle’s GPX range of open-frame petrol generators, rated at 2.7kVA. This version uses a Loncin petrol engine, offering the same GPX frame and electrics as the Honda model. It gives builders, trades and hire depots a dependable supply for site power tools and lighting.
Output for Everyday Site Tools The GPX2700 is rated at 2.7kVA at 0.8 power factor, with a prime rating of 2.2kW and a continuous rating of 2.0kW. One 16A 110V socket and one 16A 230V socket are fitted, so it can run 110V site tools as well as 230V equipment. Running at 50Hz, it suits typical hand-held power tools, task lighting and chargers. Check the combined load of everything you plan to connect against the continuous rating before starting work.
A Frame Built for Hire The GPX frame wraps around the engine and alternator to guard them against knocks, while leaving service points accessible. A belly plate helps on soft ground and the frame is designed to stack, with single-point lifting, to save space in the yard or on the van.
- Power tools: 110V drills, saws and breakers on building sites
- Lighting: 110V task and site lighting
- 230V equipment: chargers and general equipment via the 230V socket
- Hire fleets: a robust, stackable generator for rental use
Protected Electrics The heavy-duty alternator feeds a steel electrical enclosure with screw-in sockets and overload protection on the circuits. Oversized four-point anti-vibration mounts isolate the engine and alternator from the frame.
Loncin or Honda Belle builds the GPX2700 with either a Honda or a Loncin engine. This listing is the Loncin version, a cost-effective alternative for users who want the GPX frame and electrics. If you’d prefer the Honda engine, take a look at the GPX2700 CTE or GPX3400 listings, which offer both.
