Description
Altrad Belle GPX3400 Petrol Generator
The GPX3400 is the mid-sized model in Belle’s GPX range of open-frame petrol generators, rated at 3.4kVA. Its extra 32A 110V outlet makes it a step up from the GPX2700 for heavier site tools. It is aimed at contractors and hire fleets who need dependable portable power in tough conditions.
More Power, More Outlets Rated at 3.4kVA at 0.8 power factor, the GPX3400 has a prime rating of 2.7kW and a continuous rating of 2.5kW. It has three outlets: one 16A 110V, one 32A 110V and one 16A 230V, covering standard site tools, higher-draw 110V kit and 230V equipment.
Tough GPX Frame The generator sits in Belle’s protective GPX frame, which shields the engine and alternator from damage while keeping service points accessible. The frame stacks for storage and transport, has single-point lifting and includes a belly plate for soft ground.
- 110V 16A: drills, grinders, saws and site lighting
- 110V 32A: higher-draw 110V tools and transformers
- 230V 16A: chargers and general 230V equipment
Electrics You Can Rely On A heavy-duty alternator feeds a steel electrical enclosure with screw-in sockets and overload protection on the circuits. Oversized four-point anti-vibration mounts reduce the shaking passed through to the frame.
Honda or Loncin Engine Choose a Honda GX200 (6.5hp / 4.8kW) with recoil start and low oil cut-off, or a Loncin petrol engine as a cost-effective alternative. Both versions share the GPX3400’s electrical ratings, sockets and frame.
Which GPX Model? The GPX3400 sits between the 2.7kVA GPX2700 and the 5kVA GPX5000 in Belle’s range. Compared with the GPX2700 it adds a 32A 110V outlet and lifts continuous output from 2.0kW to 2.5kW. If your site runs only on 110V, the GPX3400 CTE offers the same rating with a 110V-only panel. When sizing a job, add up the running load of every tool you plan to connect and keep it within the 2.5kW continuous rating, allowing headroom for motor start-up.
