Description

Altrad Belle GPX5000 CTE 110V Petrol Generator

The GPX5000 CTE is the largest of Belle’s 110V-only GPX generators, rated at 5kVA and driven by a Honda GX270 engine. It gives contractors and hire fleets the headroom to run several 110V tools, or heavier 32A equipment, from one portable unit. As with the rest of the CTE range, it is aimed at 110V site work and TIN 12 fusion welding.

5kVA of 110V Power Rated at 5kVA at 0.8 power factor, the GPX5000 CTE has a prime rating of 4.0kW and a continuous rating of 3.6kW. Two 16A 110V sockets and one 32A 110V socket are recessed into a steel electrical enclosure, with system breakers and overload protection on all circuits.

Honda GX270 Engine The 9.0hp Honda GX270 petrol engine has recoil start and a low engine oil cut-off. Oversized four-point anti-vibration mounts sit between the engine, the heavy-duty alternator and the frame.

Built for Hire and Site Use The protective frame guards the engine and alternator while keeping service points accessible, a design aimed squarely at rental and contract use.

Standard or Wheeled Frame Choose the standard frame (G5001CS), which includes a protective under-belly plate and stacks for storage and transport at 64kg. Alternatively, choose the wheeled version (G5001CWS), which adds a wheel kit so one person can move the generator around site. The wheeled version does not have the under-belly plate and cannot be stacked.

  • Standard frame: stackable, with belly plate; best for depots and van storage
  • With wheel kit: easier to move around site; not stackable

Where It Fits in the Range The GPX5000 CTE tops Belle’s 110V-only CTE line, above the GPX2700 CTE and GPX3400 CTE. Belle also builds a standard GPX5000, which adds a 16A 230V socket alongside the 110V outlets. With 3.6kW available continuously, the GPX5000 CTE can share its output across several 110V tools at once; total their running loads before connecting, and allow headroom for motor start-up.
