Description

Altrad Belle Megavib+ 230v Poker Drive Unit

The Megavib+ is a lightweight, hand-held electric drive unit that powers Belle’s Megavib+ flexible shafts and poker heads. It is carried by the operator rather than standing on the ground, which makes it a practical choice for smaller pours, tight formwork and jobs where a ground-standing petrol unit would be awkward to move around. This version runs from a 230v single-phase supply.

Hand-Held Electric Drive Because the motor sits in the operator’s hand, the unit moves along the pour with the user. There is no engine to start, no fuel to store and no exhaust, so it suits indoor slabs, extensions, workshops and residential sites.

Interchangeable Shafts and Heads The unit drives through a female output shaft and accepts the Megavib+ shaft and head range. Poker heads are available in 25mm, 36mm, 50mm and 57mm diameters, with a 3m flexible shaft. The 25mm head comes as a complete assembly with its own 3m shaft, while the 36mm, 50mm and 57mm heads fit onto a separate 3m shaft. That lets one drive unit cover thin sections and bigger pours by changing the head.

230v Supply The 230v model is the right choice where a standard single-phase 230v supply is available, for example on domestic and small commercial jobs or in a yard or precast shop. For sites that work on 110v, Belle also makes a 110v version of the Megavib+.

Supplied as the Drive Unit This listing is for the drive unit only. A Megavib+ shaft and head are needed to put it to work and are sold separately, so you can pick the head size that suits the job.

Typical Applications

  • Small slabs and bases: garage floors, extensions and equipment plinths.
  • Walls and columns: consolidating concrete in narrow formwork with a small head.
  • Precast and yard work: moulds and units cast near a 230v supply.
  • Footings and trenches: residential groundworks with mains power on site.
