Description
Altrad Belle Minipac 300 Lightweight Plate Compactor
The Minipac 300 is the smallest forward plate in the Altrad Belle range, built for light compaction where access is tight and a heavier machine would be hard to justify. With a 300mm wide plate and a weight of 32kg, it is a practical choice for landscapers, paving contractors and small builders who want a plate that one person can handle.
Small Enough to Go Anywhere The light weight and compact frame mean the Minipac can be lifted, carried through a side gate or across a garden, and set down exactly where it is needed. Belle designed it to fit in the back of a car, so it does not need a van or trailer to get between jobs.
Honda GXH50 Petrol Engine Power comes from a Honda GXH50 four-stroke petrol engine with recoil start and a 0.77 litre fuel tank. It drives a 3.25kN vibration unit that moves the plate forward at up to 12 metres per minute, which is a sensible pace for finishing work on paving and bedding layers.
Dual Force Baseplate Compaction is delivered through Belle’s Dual Force baseplate, and the machine is light enough for the operator to pull it back by hand when working into corners or up to edges. It is rated for compaction depths of up to 75mm, so it is best matched to bedding sand, thin sub-base layers and block paving rather than deep fill.
Typical Applications The Minipac 300 is aimed at light professional and DIY-scale work, including:
- Block paving: bedding in and finishing blocks and setts on prepared sand
- Patios and paths: compacting thin sub-base and bedding layers for garden and domestic paving
- Landscaping: consolidating small areas of granular material around borders, edging and features
- Repairs: compacting small patch repairs where a larger plate cannot reach
Operator Use The published hand-arm vibration figure is 7.11m/s², so operators should plan exposure times in line with HAV guidance. The machine is rated for use on gradients of up to 20 degrees.
