Description

Altrad Belle MS500 Masonry Saw

The MS500 is Belle’s large-capacity bench saw for cutting thick block, kerbs, stone and paving. It takes 450mm or 500mm diamond blades, cuts up to 195mm deep and handles material up to 560mm long. A submersible pump recirculates water from the saw bed to the blade for wet cutting.

High Cutting Capacity With a 500mm blade the MS500 cuts to 195mm deep, or 165mm with a 450mm blade. That depth lets it take on kerbs, thick blocks, coping and dressed stone that a 14″ saw cannot cut in one pass.

Wet Cutting for Dust Control The built-in submersible pump draws water from the saw bed and feeds it to the blade. That keeps dust down at the source and helps the diamond blade run cool.

Power Options The MS500 comes in three versions:

  • Honda petrol: 5.5hp / 4.1kW, for sites with no power supply.
  • 110v electric: 3.35hp / 2.5kW motor on a 32A single-phase supply, needing at least a 10kVA continuous transformer.
  • 230v electric: 3.35hp / 2.5kW motor on a 16A single-phase supply. It must be hard-wired and cannot run from a 13A plug.

Robust Bench Design Weighing 203kg and measuring 1410 x 715 x 1590mm overall, the MS500 is a solid, stable machine for yard, compound and site use where accuracy and capacity matter.

Choosing a Version The petrol model is the most flexible on remote sites and in compounds without power. The electric models avoid exhaust and fuel handling, and suit yards, workshops and sites with a reliable supply. All three versions share the same cutting capacity, blade bore size and frame.

Typical Applications Cutting kerbs and edgings, landscaping and hard paving, natural stone walling and coping, thick concrete and aerated block, and precast units on civil engineering and building sites.
