Altrad Belle PCLX 40E+ Battery Plate Compactor

The PCLX 40E+ is a 400mm cordless forward plate powered by Belle’s 82V lithium-ion battery platform. It gives the compaction of a petrol plate of the same size with no exhaust fumes, no fuel to carry and much less noise at the point of use.

Battery Power A 2.0Hp/1.5kW brushless motor drives a 13kN vibration unit, giving a static pressure of 337kg/m² and a travel speed of up to 20 metres per minute. The 82V battery slots straight into the machine, and an 8Ah pack recharges to 80% in around 48 minutes and fully in around 65 minutes using the Belle dual charger. Because the motor is brushless and there is no engine, there is no fuel to carry, no oil to check and no exhaust to manage, which keeps daily checks simple.

Options Available The PCLX 40E+ is sold as a machine only, for users who already run Belle 82V batteries, or as a package with one 8Ah battery and a dual battery charger, which is everything needed to start work. The 8Ah battery has an energy rating of 580Wh.

Low Vibration, Low Weight The published hand-arm vibration level is under 2.5m/s², so operators can work for longer within daily limits. The machine shell weighs 62kg without the battery and folds to 780mm long and 500mm high for storage and transport.
