Altrad Belle PCX 13/40E+ Battery Plate Compactor

The PCX 13/40E+ is the battery-powered version of Belle’s heavy-duty PCX 13/40, running on the Honda eGX 72V platform. It gives the weight and compaction of a full-size contractor plate without exhaust fumes or engine noise.

Honda eGX Battery Power A Honda eGX electric motor producing 2.2Hp/1.6kW drives a 13kN vibration unit. The machine runs on the Honda eGX 72V lithium-ion battery system, which is also used on other construction equipment, so contractors who already run eGX batteries can share packs across machines. With no engine to start, there is no fuel to carry, no oil to check and no exhaust to manage, which simplifies daily checks on site.

Heavy-Duty Compaction A 400mm x 606mm plate gives a static pressure of 560kg/m² and a travel speed of up to 20 metres per minute. At 89kg without the battery, the PCX 13/40E+ has the weight to handle thicker granular layers than lighter battery plates. Its 400mm x 606mm plate and 13kN rating match the petrol PCX 13/40, so crews get the same plate size and compaction force without an engine to run and maintain.

Low Vibration The published hand-arm vibration level is 2.5m/s², independently tested by OPERC to BS5349 using EN500-4. That allows longer working periods within daily exposure limits.

Batteries and Accessories The machine uses the Honda eGX B750 72V battery and the Honda eGX C700 quick charger.
