Description
Altrad Belle Ranger 450 Floor Saw
The Ranger 450 is a push-along floor saw for cutting concrete and asphalt on roads, car parks and slabs. It takes blades from 400mm (16″) up to 450mm (18″) and cuts to a maximum depth of 160mm. Power comes from a 13hp Honda GX390 petrol engine, and a 50 litre water tank feeds the blade for wet cutting.
Honda GX390 Power The GX390 develops 13.0hp (9.7kW) gross and 11.7hp (8.7kW) net, giving the Ranger the power to hold blade speed through deep cuts in reinforced concrete and asphalt.
Deep Cutting Capacity With an 18″ blade the Ranger 450 cuts up to 160mm deep. That covers trenching for services, cutting out failed slab sections, road reinstatement and expansion joints.
On-Board Water Tank The 50 litre tank supplies water to the blade without needing a hose connection, keeping dust down and the blade cool on sites with no water supply. A hose can still be used where one is available.
Right-Hand Cutting The blade is mounted on the right-hand side, so the operator can follow a marked line and cut close to kerbs and walls on that side.
Blade Choice Fit a diamond blade to suit the material:
- Concrete: general and reinforced concrete slabs, roads and hardstandings.
- Green or soft concrete: softer-bond blades for abrasive or young concrete.
- Asphalt: blades for tarmac surfaces, car parks and road reinstatement.
Site-Ready Size The Ranger 450 measures 650 x 950 x 1250mm and weighs 126kg. That is heavy enough to keep the blade steady in the cut while still being manageable for loading and moving around site with the right handling equipment.
Typical Applications Utility trenching, road and footway reinstatement, cutting out concrete slabs, expansion and control joints, and groundworks across civil engineering and building sites.
