Description

Altrad Belle RPC 30/50 Reversible Plate Compactor

The Altrad Belle RPC 30/50 belongs to Belle’s compact RPC range: a 30kN reversible plate with a 20″ (500mm) base plate. The 20-inch plate gives a little more coverage per pass for sub-base and floor fillings. It is available with a Honda petrol engine or a Hatz diesel.

Hydraulic Control Belle uses hydraulic control of the eccentric on the RPC range, so the operator adjusts travel speed and compaction effort smoothly from the handle rather than relying on a simple forward/reverse lever. That makes the plate easy to place and easy to hold on the spot.

High-Frequency Vibration The vibrator runs at 95Hz and produces 30kN of centrifugal force through a 500 x 657mm base plate. The higher frequency suits granular and mixed materials, giving a well-finished surface on sub-base layers.

Working Close to Structures Belle positions the RPC 30 as a general-purpose plate for compacting close to piles and concrete bases, where a reversible machine can be worked in and out without turning. Typical jobs include:

  • Floor fillings: hardcore and sub-base inside buildings and extensions
  • Foundations: consolidating formations around bases and pile caps
  • Road repairs: patch reinstatement and small resurfacing areas
  • Pipe trenches: backfilling around and over services

Petrol or Diesel The Honda petrol model is rated at 4.0kW and weighs 161kg. The Hatz diesel model is rated at 3.1kW and weighs 174kg, and suits fleets that prefer to run everything on one fuel. Both share the same base plate and vibrator, so compaction performance is matched across the two.

Size and Handling Overall dimensions are 688 x 500 x 1314mm (L x W x H). Being reversible, the plate does not need to be turned at the end of each run, which saves effort in trenches, inside buildings and anywhere space is tight. It can also be held in one spot to work extra passes into a soft area before moving on.
